Tips for cycling trips
Vítkov – Čermná ve Slezsku – Vítkov, 7 km
The route follows local cycle route no. 6133. From Vítkov, set off towards the village of Klokočov and follow the marked cycle route through the field and beside the forest to the village of Čermná ve Slezsku and subsequently along the main road back to Vítkov.
Vítkov – Podhradí – Lhotka – Vítkov, 9 km
The route follows local cycle route no. 6132. From Vítkov, head off towards the village of Podhradí, from where you will gradually climb to the village of Lhotka along the marked route. From Lhotka it is back to Vítkov, now riding along the main road.
The section of route from Podhradí to Lhotka cuts through the forest along a Macadam track – quite hard work for some cyclists (unsuitable for road bikes).
Vítkov – Klokočov – Čermná ve Slezsku – Vítkov, 11 km
This route partly follows ordinary roads – the local marked cycle route no. 6133 from Vítkov to Klokočov – and then takes the field path to Čermná ve Slezsku. In Čermná you join the cycle route “Odersko”, no. 503, which in this section takes you along the road connecting Vítkov with Budišov nad Budišovkou.
Vítkov – Podhradí – Lhotka – Nové Těchanovice – Zálužné – Jánské Koupele – Kružberk – reservoir under the dam – Svatoňovice – Čermná ve Slezsku – Vítkov, 30 km
From Vítkov to Podhradí you pass along the local marked cycle route no. 6132 and then take up the cycle route “Moravice”, no. 551, once you arrive in Podhradí. Follow the 551 towards Lhotka, Zálužné, Jánské koupele and Kružberk Reservoir. To get to Svatoňovice you need to take the main road. Once in Svatoňovice, take up the marked cycle route no. 503 “Odersko” and head towards Vítkov.
The Moravice cycle route passes through the stunning valley of the Moravice River and the area covered by the Moravice Nature Park. The section of the route between Podhradí and Lhotka takes a Macadam road through the forest and can by quite taxing by bike (unsuitable for road bikes).
